KARACHI: The attack on Karachi airport by terrorists on Sunday, June 8th, 2014 besides bringing into front, some great show of skills by Pakistan’s security forces, also showcased some great use of technology by stranded passengers.

During the attack, some stranded passengers minute to minute updated their twitter accounts by latest information and their feelings regarding the attack and brevity of Pakistani forces in curtailing the attack.
The messages and live updates were altered when Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) spokesperson Asim Bajwa tweeted that passengers must not disclose locations.
While after being rescued, A twitterati praised Pakistan Army for treating every passenger as a VIP.
