KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah paid a surprise visit to Sindh Secretariat on Thursday (today) in order to monitor official activities by the staff.
CM Sindh faced surprising condition by himself as various high-ups found absent as well as several staff members were also present nowhere in the Sindh Secretariat.
The provincial minister for Anti-Corruption Establishment and Prisons, Manzoor Wassan, was also amongst the absentees.
Qaim Ali Shah was accompanied by the provincial information minister Sharjeel Memon during the visit.
He expressed outrage over the situation and ordered to issue notices against the absent staff members in Sindh Secretariat.
According to reports, CM Sindh also paid visit to various trade centers in the provincial capital Karachi after two-day closure due to political protests following Altaf Hussain’s detainment in London.
During his visit to different departments and part of Karachi, Qaim Ali Shah checked police records while paying visit to Nazimabad police station.
