JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) will announce the new name of Test captain which included opener Hashim Amla and experience player for Proteas cricket team on June 3.
The new skipper will take the major responsibility after the former captain Graeme Smith’s resignation.
Amla and Plessis have been favoured reportedly for South African team captaincy.
National convener of selectors, Andrew Hudson will likely to announce the squad names for Test series against Sri Lanka.
The three ODIs and two Test match series will be held between both teams in July at Sri Lanka.
