Shab-e-Miraj is the night when the Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) met with Allah Almighty after crossing seven skies on a heavenly creature known as ‘al-Buraq’.
On Shab-e-Miraj, ladies make special arrangements in their homes and spend whole night praying while men spend their time in mosques and participate in collective prayers.
Islamic clerics conduct special programs on TV and other mediums to emphasize on the importance of Shab-e-Miraj.
Muslims all over the world observe Shab e Miraj on 27th Rajab-ul-Murajab (Islamic calendar) with zeal and enthusiasm.
