KARACHI: Sindh government has removed Additional Inspector General of Police Shahid Hayat among four AIGs and five deputy inspector general from their post while the AIG Karachi is replaced by Ghulam Qadir Thebo.
Additional Inspector General of Police AIGP Karachi Shahid Hayat among four AIGs and five deputy inspector general DIGs have been removed from their positions in the light of Supreme Court order here on Thursday.
Shahid Hayat was appointed AIGP on 6th December of last year.
Earlier on 9th of this month, the Sindh government was directed by the SC to remove all officers working on an OPS basis.
According to reports about 900 officers were appointed on OPS in different departments of Sindh. (PPI)
