PESHAWAR: Three more polio cases have been reported from Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan here on Monday.
According to sources, Waqas (22 months old), Rumana (22 months old) and Aqsa (6 months old) have been diagnosed with polio virus.
All three of them were given polio drops at the time of their birth but due to no polio vaccination, the kids became victim of this virus.
Prime Minister Polio Cell has also confirmed these three cases.
66 polio cases have been reported in Pakistan this year so far, as per Prime Minister Polio Cell stats.
It is important to note that World Health Organisation (WHO) has made it mandatory for Pakistan travellers to bring polio certificate in order to go to other countries.
Whereas, Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has also ordered polio drops for people travelling from FATA to other parts of Pakistan.
Despite of so many measures, the polio virus seems to be spreading quickly in Pakistan.
