KARACHI: Provincial cabinet of Sindh has decided to speed-up the ongoing targeted operation against terrorists, extortionists and other criminals in the metropolis as well as to set up a ‘counter-terrorism department’.
Chief Minister of Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah, took the decision while chairing a high-level meeting of the provincial cabinet in the metropolis of Pakistan.
Expedition of the targeted operation also decided in order to control law and order following special orders of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif issued few days ago.
Moreover, Inspector General (IG) Sindh of Police has been directed to make all possible arrangements to ensure complete security of religious places including mosques, Imam-Bargahs and temples across the province.
