LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that his government wanted to speedy work on small hydel projects in the province, while the government would start work on Wasu dam soon.
The CM Punjab was delivering his views in a meeting with the World Bank country director Rashid Bin Masood.
Shahbaz Sharif said that in the field of education, energy, health, agriculture, irrigation and social development world band services were appreciable.
The Punjab government would make composite mechanism on small hydel projects with the cooperation of the World Bank.
He also lauded the efforts of the World Bank in the construction of mega dams to end energy crises in the country.
He appreciated the cooperation assured by the World Bank in the construction of Wasu dam.
The Wasu dam would be constructed in more than 4 billion dollar cost.
