ISLAMABAD: A special inquiry committee, formed to probe allegations of Pakistani MNA Jamshed Dasti against the parliament, has termed the accusations of Dasti baseless.
Dasti had levelled allegations of immoral activities and presence of liquor in parliament lodges.
The investigation committee has finalized its report. The committee took a detailed review of Dasti’s allegations in its meeting.
After thorough review, the committee termed allegations leveled by Dasti baseless and unfounded.
Sources said a privilege motion might be filed against Dasti after approval of the parliament.
Meanwhile, Jamshed Dasti accused former president Asif Ali Zardari of intrusion in the inquiry process by inserting PML-NÂ members in committee.
