KARACHI: Another polio case surfaced in the metropolis on Monday, raising the total number of affected persons this year to 5.
According to sources close to PM Polio Monitoring Cell, 18 month old boy, resident of Gadap Town, was tested positive for polio virus.
According to the Anti-Polio Cell, 18 month old Ayaz Rasool was not administered polio drops.
It is pertinent to mention here that till to date 60 polio cases have been reported in Pakistan, including 46 cases from Federally Administered Tribal Areas alone.
