KARACHI: At least six persons were killed in violent incidents in Karachi on Saturday. Three dacoits were killed in police encounters.
According to police, a man was killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire in Gulistan-e-Jauhar block 17 area of Karachi. Moreover, two tortured bodies were also found in Quaidabad area, rescue sources told.
Details have it that one body was found dumped near Radio Station while another near Gulshan City. One of the victims had bullet wounds while the other was tortured to death.
The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained until the last report was filed.
One dacoit was killed in police encounter when four dacoits were looting the people in Superhighway. Three dacoits were succeeded to flee from the scene. On the other hand the police arrested two dacoits in injured condition during police encounter from Board Basin area of the city. However both injured succumb to injures in hospital.
