Lahore: Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed has clarified that democracy got strong in Pakistan and there is no risk to the system.
Talking to a seminar in Lahore on Saturday, he said that only those powers planning protest against the government who wanted to see martial law in the country.
Not mentioning Tahir ul Qadri, Rasheed said that only those people saw the democracy in the country at risk who are coming to Pakistan from Canada for their own politics.
Regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), he said that the PTI has the government in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KPK) and trying to bring buses from the KPK to Islamabad.
He said that every citizen of Pakistan has a right to do protest as it is a beauty of democracy but will not accept a plan to derail the democracy.
