KARACHI: Federal Bureau of InvestigationĀ (FBI) agent, who was arrested from Karachi airport recently, has been receiving special protocol in the jail here, media reported.
FBI agent Joel Cox Eugene was sent to jail on physical remand on four days but instead of being tortured in the lock-up, Eugene has been living in a private room.
According to reports, police is having trouble during interrogating him as he only speaks English and he is not cooperating at all. He has not answered any questions yet and told officials to contact US embassy for all the queries.
The police have found some hi-tech equipment in his luggage that cannot be decoded in Pakistan.
He has also been getting his breakfast from an international restaurant in the prison with morning newspapers.
