SEOUL: As LG expected to debut its flagship smartphone LG G3 on May 27, now new report recons that the device enter into mass production.
LG has already sent out invitations to events it is holding on May 27 – 28 in six different cities, and the wide belief is that the LG G3 will be the star of the show.
The latest leaked information claims that the next-generation LG flagship smartphone has already entered mass-production, which makes sense if it’s set to debut later this month.
According to GforGames, the publication also notes that LG reportedly expects to sell 10 million LG G3 units, which is quite a big goal considering the company’s previous performances.
The purported LG G3 has so far leaked on several occasions, with various images and spec details painting an exciting picture. If the rumored specs prove to be accurate, the LG G3 will be a real powerhouse able to challenge any flagship smartphone currently available on the market.
The LG G3 is rumored to boast a 5.5-inch display with a whopping Quad HD (QHD) resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Moreover, the handset is also expected to be one of the first devices to rock Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon mobile processor. More specifically, the LG G3 is rumored to pack a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, paired with a hefty 3GB of RAM.
Other rumored specs include a 13- or 16-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. If LG officially unveiled its new 2014 flagship at its upcoming event on May 27 – 28, the LG G3 will likely go on sale sometime in June.
It’s all in the rumor state for now, as all of the aforementioned specifications are based solely on leaks and speculation. As always in such cases, it is highly recommended to take everything with a grain of salt for now.
