ISLAMABAD: In an effort to make Pakistanis more 3G friendly, Ufone has come up with a brilliant marketing strategy to exchange your 2G phone with a brand new 3G smartphones.
Unfortunately, this offer is not free. You have to pay some amount of money in order to get a new 3G smartphone in exchange of your old mobile phone, that does not support the latest third-generation (3G) technology.
Well this offer does seem amazing and Ufone is the only one providing this facility but it has few limitations too;
Location limitation:
This offer is valid in only three cities of Pakistan i.e. Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. Not only that, there is only single Ufone customer service center in each city that can exchange your phone with a brand new 3G smartphone and those service centers are Lahore (Gluberg), Karachi (Clifton) and Islamabad (F7).
Choice limitation:
You can choose your new 3G smartphone but the catalogue that will be provided by Ufone has limited options.
Anyhow, this is still a great offer and you can give it a shot – maybe you end up having a great phone that works perfectly with 3G.
