Karachi: An odd decision has been taken on Wednesday in the Sindh Assembly, a legislative institution to ban food items in the jurisdiction of the assembly.
During today’s hearing, members of the provincial assembly (MPA’s) has said that the members have been caught while distribution of toffees and other food items in the assembly which disturbed the proceedings.
Senior Minister, Nisar Khoro said that the members seems not serious as they were caught to distribute chewing gums, toffees to other members.
While the Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon levels allegations on the MPA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Samar Ali Khan that he always busy to eat chewing gum.
This allegations sparked chain of arguments and allegations which compelled Speaker Shehla Raza to intervene.
At the end of the today’s proceedings, Sindh Assembly finally banned all the food items and water bottle in the jurisdiction of the assembly
