KARACHI: Pakistan’s construction and real estate giant Bahria Town has stopped funding of two government projects in Karachi.
The real estate giant previously announced to fund Rs 1.89 billion to the KMC (Karachi Metropolitan Corporation) forĀ construction of 1 flyover & 2 underpasses.
A spokesman of Bahria Town said that it is difficult to work on public projects with honesty besides apologising to Karachi citizens for failing to fund the public development projects despite encouragement from locals.

The planned projects were One underpass from Kothari Parade over Talwar Chowk and the other one was between Adullah Shah Ghazi Mazar and Bahria Town Icon.
The flyover was to be built in front of Park Lane Towers.
