Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday has ordered to the concerned authority to reduce the load shedding duration to the minimum level.
The PM has given the order during a meeting on the electricity situation in Islamabad.
He demanded the power companies to increase the efforts to collect outstanding bills as it was the only way to provide maximum power supply to the people of Pakistan.
The government is trying to provide uninterrupted  power supply to the consumer and for this purpose the electricity would be disconnected who will not pay the bills, the PM added.
Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif and Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali also attended the meeting.
