KARACHI: Sindhpolice has come up with the initiative which was long awaited by citizens of Karachi as cameras have been installed on as many 75 police mobiles to control crime in the city, sources said.
In this regard Inspector General Sindh (IG) Iqbal Mehmood informed that around 400 police officers and policemen have been trained.
The IGÂ also stated that cameras have been fixed in the 75 police mobiles.
All the police mobiles fitted with cameras would patrol around the city, he added.
He said highways police check posts would also make functional soon.
The Sindh Police has taken the initiative when crimes in the metropolis have reached to alarming numbers.
