ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) has rejected Indian media allegations against Pakistani institutions following attack on senior journalist Hamid Mir and declared it ‘baseless and untrue’.
Pakistan FO spokesperson Tasneem Aslam while speaking in weekly press briefing said the Pakistan not astonished at the Indian media reporting over recent event in the country as they used to of doing so in the past.
She said elections in Indian held Kashmir could not be alternative to right of self determination for people of Kashmir, she replied over a query regarding elections in Indian held Kashmir.
On another query, she said United States (US) special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, James F. Dobbins has reached to Pakistan and met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif and Prime Minister (PM) Advisor to foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz.
She said bilateral relations and situation in Afghanistan came under discussion in meeting with US representative.
The foreign office spokesperson informed that PM Nawaz Sharif will travel to England on official visit from April 30 to May 2.
During visit to England, the PM will discuss on mutual interest in meeting with British counterpart and meet with cabinet members of England.
Moreover, PM will deliver speech in investment conference and meet with investors of power and financial sectors CEO’S.
