Lahore: An important member of Tehrik-i-Pakistan (TTP) committee and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Professor Ibrahim on Wednesday has termed the release of the prisoners from both sides as the biggest issue for successful dialogue process.
Talking to media, Professor Ibrahim said that the break in peace process between the government and the TTP should come to an end
He said that only peace in Pakistan can ensure the safety of the citizens.
He also told that today’s meeting with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and the government committee is crucial as the future of peace process would be discussed in the meeting.
He further revealed that he did not know the names of TTP prisoners that were released by the government.
It is pertinent to mention here that Interior minister has called a meeting of the government and the TTP committees today to discuss the current status of dialogues between two negotiating parties and also, the future of peace process.
