KARACHI: Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited senior journalist Hamid Mir in Karachi’s Agha Khan Hospital.
An injured Hamid Mir talked to PM and told him about the incident and his condition while PM announced to form a judicial commission to inquire the cause and perpetrators of attack on the senior journalist.
Nawaz Sharif said he has also contacted law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in this regard and ensured that culprits will be arrested and brought to justice.
Mr. Sharif was accompanied by Water and Defence Minister Khwaja Asif, Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Eshrat-ul-Ibad.
