KARACHI: The designated online branches of six scheduled banks started receiving applications under government Hajj on the basis of first come, first served basis.
This year 143,368 Pakistanis would get the honour of performing Hajj. Total Hajj quota has been divided equally between Government and private Hajj organizations.
People who have performed Hajj in last five year are ineligible unless they are the going as ‘Mehram’, according to ‘Hajj’ policy.
Hajj package under the government scheme will cost Rs. 262,231 to Karachi, Quetta and Sukkar applicants.
While Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Faisalabad and Sialkot natives would have to pay Rs. 272,231 for same package.
