RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s corps commanders’ meeting is underway to review the country’s internal and external security and professional matters of the armed force.
After the statement of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) two days ago, the routine conference has attained significance.
The COAS had said that while our country is faced with various internal and external challenges, the army upholds the sanctity of all institutions and will resolutely preserve its own dignity and institutional pride.
He said while responding to the concerns of soldiers on undue criticism of the institution in recent days. It is likely that the corps commander will also review government Taliban talks and security situation in the country.
However, the ISPR has said it will be a routine conference.
