Karachi: After an outstanding performance by Pakistan street footballers in Street Child World Cup, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Patron-In-Chief Bilawal Bhutto has invited the team to his residence ‘Bilawal House’ on April 8 (today) in Karachi.
Earlier, the footballers visited Sindh Assembly, where members of parliament gave great wishes and announced give Rs2 million for the team.
PPP Patron-In-Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appreciated Azad Foundation, which led the Pakistani team to World Cup, for its cooperation to Peoples Government of Sindh in implementing Sindh Child Act, Juvenile Justice Ordinance, and Sindh Child Protection Authority Act in the province.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon also announced that his government will build a football ground in the Karachi.
After visiting Bilawal House, players will go at Sindh Chief Minister House for special dinner.
Talking to media, Pakistan’s SCWC team captain Sameer Ahmed said that government should support players and provide more facilities in the country.
