NEW DELHI: A sting operation on Friday has revealed that martyrdom of Babri Masjid was not just accident but it was a pre-planned incident, India media reported.
The sting operation was conducted on 23 key persons of Ram Janambhoomi movement by Cobrapost which revealed that Babri Masjid martyrdom on December 6, 1992 was planned by different sections of Sangh parivar and it was carried out by trained volunteer.
Babri Masjid incident has always been defined as mob frenzy going crazy, resulting in the demise of sixteenth century historic but disputed architecture.
Some of the key persons plotted by this sting operation were Ram Janambhhomi masterminds like Sakshi Maharaj, Acharya Dharmendra, Uma Bharti, Mahant Vedanti, Vinay Katiyar, BJP leader L K Advani, then UP chief minister Kalyan Singh and Congress PM P V Narasimha Rao.
Cobrapost associate editor K Ashish pretended to be researching for his book on Aodhya movement.
Indian media is extensively covering this sting operation.
On the other hand, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) is furious at the timing of revelation of this sting operation as the elections in India are just few days away.
And they have even filed a complaint to Election Commission of India about Cobrapost attempt to defame the party at such crucial time.
