PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) ruling authorities have faced another shock after formation of ‘forward-block’ by a set of assembly members as now provincial opposition leader demanding Chief Minister to conduct confidence voting.
KPK opposition leader and prominent politician of Awami National Party (ANP), Sardar Hussain Babak, demanded that Pervez Khattak should have conduct voting in order to show the assembly members’ confidence under Article 130 clause 7.
Babak said that the ‘forward-block’ comprising of 21 lawmakers of the provincial assembly, reportedly belonging to ruling political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), expressed lack of confidence from the CM KPK.
The opposition leader’s hammering statement came between the significant period when a lawmaker group of PTI created ‘forward-block’ named as ‘PTI Hum Khayaal’ comprising of 14 assembly members in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
The CM Kp requires vote of confidence under article 130 clause (7) from the provincial assembly in the current situation.

The separated PTI lawmakers of KPK assembly have expressed severe reservations with the political party’s top leadership hinted to change provincial cabinet.
It should be mentioned that PTI chief Imran Khan had signalled changes in KPK’s provincial cabinet over involvement of some lawmakers making negligence in public servicing.
On the other hand, five new members had been administered oath for provincial cabinet on April 1.
