PESHAWAR: A group of lawmakers affiliated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday has reportedly created ‘forward-block’ comprising of 14 assembly members in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
Disappointed PTI lawmakers of KPK assembly has formed separate block after having severe reservations with the political party’s top leadership hinted to change provincial cabinet, local media reported.
A member of KPK assembly, Qurban Khan, has been appointed as focal person of the newly formed group reportedly named as ‘PTI Hum Khayaal’, local new channel SAMAA reported.
Javed Naseem, another member of the provincial assembly, said, ‘It is not a forward-block’.
Naseem said that the formation reason of ‘PTI Hum Khayaal’ is to save political party and fulfillment of its promises for locals.
It should be mentioned that PTI chief Imran Khan had signalled changes in KPK’s provincial cabinet over involvement of some lawmakers making negligence in public servicing.
