PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) on Saturday has disconnected electricity supply of 29 villages of Hangu due to non-payment of dues.
The PESCO spokesman Shaukat Afzal said that 29 villages of Hangu have to pay 260 million. Moreover, 2710 illegal connections have been dismantled in during checking in Hangu.
While, non-payment of 10 million rupees in Doabba area, nine transformers have been pulled off.
The PESCO magistrate in Peshawar has sent seven persons to jail on the charges of electricity theft.
