SUKKUR: In a unique bid to recover electricity dues, Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) has started campaign to pull off transformershere on Thursday.
The campaign has been started on the instruction of Minister of State for Power and Water Abid Sher Ali.
SEPCO official said around 200 transformers have been removed on complaints of electricity theft and non-payment of electricity dues.
Abid Sher Ali has the view that around 90% of electricity being theft in many cities of Sindh including Sukkur, Ghotki, Dadu, Larkana, Qambar, Shahdatkot, Jacobabad. Afther that operation has been started.
