PESHAWAR: An important member of Taliban nominated committee, Professor Ibrahim informed that the government and the Taliban was due to hold a meeting today but now it has been delayed due to bad weather condition in Kyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Federally Administered Area (FATA).
Talking to media, Professor Ibrahim said direct talks between government and Taliban council were fixed for today, but due to bad weather condition travelling to North Waziristan could not be possible.
He said that the committee members will reach to decided place when weather condition turns normal.
He insists that peace is the utmost need of the country, hence only agenda of talks between government and Taliban is to restore peace in the country.
