LAHORE: Moderate earthquake have been recorded on Thursday (today) in the Pakistan’s Punjab province and its suburb areas.
Earth quake of 3.4-magnitude on Richter Scale jolts several parts of Punjab including the provincial capital Lahore, according to Met Department.
The local met department said that the epicenter of the quake was  Hafizabad while its depth was 66 km inside the land.
Locals have started evacuating from the buildings, offices and reciting Holy verses while rescue teams started spreading across the streets and internal areas in order to deal with any major or minor casualty.
Disruption in mobile networks occurred in few areas due to heavy load in Pakistan as the annoyed citizens tried to contact their relatives, friends and neighbours colleagues for conveying the earthquake’s information.
The tremors felt in various cities of the province including Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahab, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattiyaan, Sangla Hill, Bachayki, Narawal, Bhawalnagar, Bhalwal, Renala Khurd, Jalalpur and their suburb parts.
