LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday tabled a resolution of condemnation in Punjab Assembly against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain.
Hussain, while addressing a gathering on his party 30th foundation day, demanded the country’s armed forces ‘not to obey’ the government orders so as to save country’s honour.
Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed, the PTI leader, submitted the resolution submitted saying it was the second time that the MQM chief had given such statement. He demanded a punitive action against the leader.
It is further stated in the resolution that all the institution of Pakistan working very well and not any institution of the country can be allowed to derail democracy. “It is necessary that MQM chief must be stopped to giving such statement resulted in confrontation and ciaos among the institutions.”
