MIRPUR: Pakistan cricket team beat New Zealand by six wickets in a warm up match of ICC T20 World Cup match here at Shere Bangla Stadium.
Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first and made 145 runs for the loss of 9 wickets with McCullum being the top scorer making 59 runs.
Pakistani pacer Umar Gul finished with 3 for 16 in his four overs.
Pakistan started its innings well with opener Kamran Akmal making 52 runs until he had to retire hurt.
Pakistan’s T20 format captain Muhammad Hafeez made 55 runs while Sohaib Maqsood finished the match with some good shots around the ground.
