DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) World Twenty20 has completed its 3,000 sixes so far after starting the first international short-format match between Australia and New Zealand in 2005 at Eden Garden.
The 3,000 sixes completed during the second T2o match of West Indies and England on March 11 at Kensington Oval ground in Bridgetown.
English batman Alex Hales hit the 3,000 six of T20 cricket after facing the Caribbean bowler Ravi Rampaul in 13.2 overs ball of the match.
New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum is on top of the list, who hit 80 sixes so far in his career.
