New Delhi: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik has reacted sternly about India’s treatment with 67 Kashmiri students who are charged with treason case by Uttar Pardesh Government.
He said India had always been discriminatory with Kashmiris. Whenever any such incident happens, Kashmiri students are always targeted.
How India has reacted over an Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan is simply unacceptable. And he declared it as the biggest scar on so called Indian democracy.
No one can match such level of hatred as shown by Indian Government for Kashmiri students.
Kashmiri students are treated poorly in all Indian states, he added.
67 Kashmiri students of Meerut’s Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) has been charged with sedition case for celebrating Pakistan’s victory in a match played on 1st March against India, media reported on Thursday.
They were held accountable under section 124a, 153a and 427 of Indian Penal Code.
