ISLAMABAD: Independent member of National Assembly Jamsheed Dasti has expressed distrust over parliamentary committee formed to investigate the allegations leveled by him regarding usage of wines, girls and other immoral activities in parliament lodges.
According to reports, Dasti pointed that participation has not been given to all parties in the committee.
Dasti also alleged that pressure has been exerted on his family to take back the allegations.
Today, Jamshed Dasti has to participate in the investigative committee meeting to present his stance but he did not participate and reached to attend National Assembly session.
Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Ayaz Sadiq did not allow him to address National Assembly by saying that he will never be permitted to hijack the parliament.
While the speaker also rejected the reservation on investigative committee by Jamsheed Dasti.
