KOHAT: In an another terror activity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), bomb attack has been carried out at Peshawar Chowk near Girls Degree College in Kohat, killing as many as 12 persons while 10 were injured, local media reported.
Unidentified assailants continued their violent activities in the KPK province as they carried out an powerful roadside explosion in Kohat area.
At least 6 persons had lost their lives on the spot while 3 persons succumbed to injuries while being shifted to the hospital; rescue sources said
Rescue teams started their activities at the location while injured persons were shifted to Liaquat Memorial Hospital.
Police has surrounded and cordoned off the area for searching of culprits .
According to Inspector General (IG) police KPK Nasir Durrani, the bomb explosion was carried out through a planted device; installed besides the road.
