PESHAWAR: Fourth phase of “Justice for Health” campaign of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been continued in the province which aimed to eradicate nine viral diseases.
In the fourth phase of “Justice for Health” campaign 0.6 million children under the age of five have been vaccinated for viral diseases including polio around Peshawar and adjoining areas.
Due to security reason campaign has been suspended in three union councils. Volunteers in campaign have been visiting house to house for vaccination.
For the campaign, strict security measures have been taken and 4000 security officials deployed to ensure peace and avoid any unpleasant incident.
Whereas vigilance and patrolling has been beefed up at the city’s entry and exit locations and motorbike riding has also been banned which would continue till 5 pm.
