Peshawar: A new development seemed a complete suspension of dialogue process between the government and the Taliban as Pakistani fighter jets bombed suspected militants hideouts in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan on Thursday killing at least 35 people including foreign militants, military sources said, after a wave of insurgent attacks against security forces.
According to the sources, the aircraft bombarded suspected militant hideouts in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan as part of surgical strikes.
The sources said that the attacks were carried out on the basis of credible intelligence information.
The sources further said that the military took the action after taking civilian government into confidence.
