Karachi: Additional Inspector General (AIG) Sindh, Shahid Hayat on Wednesday has rejected all allegations on police, rangers level by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) regarding the killing of its worker Mohammad Salman.
The AIG has submitted his written statement in Sindh High Court (SHC) during the hearing of a plea submitted by the MQM against police and rangers for extra-judicial killing of its workers.
In his written statement, Hayat said that the police and rangers not involved in the killing, adding that three-member committee has been constituted to investigate the incident.
All the allegations on police and rangers regarding extra-judicial killing are baseless, he added.
The SHC adjourned the hearing till February 27.
