NEW DELHI: As the Mudgal commission is hearing the spot fixing case, the secret codes for communicating with players are revealed.
According to a Pakistani media channel, the bookies revealed that Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was called “helicopter”
West Indian star batsman Chris Gayle was mentioned as “Raavan” ( a villainous character in Indian mythology)
Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga was called “Makhi” (Hindi for housefly)
Yuvraj Singh is “Model” while Sreesanth was “Rotu” (frequent crier) and a 1 crore rupee bet was called “Mirchi” (spice).
It must be remembered that recently Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina are also named as spot fixing suspects in the Mudgal Panel report and the issue is sub judice.
