KARACHI:: Well-known Islamic clerics, Ulema, of Pakistan on Saturday have expressed their complete support for the government to initiate dialogues with Taliban necessary to maintain peace in the country.
According to sources, Ulemas have demanded, both the government and the Taliban to announce cease fire to save life’s of innocent people.
They said that oppression always resulted in a bloodshed and it can never maintain peace.
The Ulemas said war on terror wasted thousands of lives and dialogue process is the only way to establish peace in the country.
Around 15 Ulemas participated in the meeting including Mufti Rafi Usmani, Mufti Taqi Usmani, Maulana Saleem Ullah Khan, Maulana Fazl Raheem, Maulana Hafeez Jalandhari, Mufti Mohammad Ashraf, Maulana Mohammad Hassan, Maulana Syed Adnan Kaka Khel, Mufti Mukhtar Uddin, Maulana Dr. Sher Ali Shah and various others.
