HOBART: England all-rounder Ravi Bopara has broken the fastest half-century record of his teammate player Paul Collingwood after smashing 7 outclass sixes against Australia in the first Twent20 at Bellerive Oval.
Bopara has become the first English batsman scoring 65 runs in just 23 balls against Kangaroos.
Collingwood had made the fastest half-century in 24 balls against New Zealand on February 7 in 2008.
Bopara has broken sixes record of his teammate player Luke Wright, who had hit 6 sixes against Afghanistan on September 21 in 2012 in Colombo.
