ISLAMABAD: After long absence from the sessions of lower house, the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has appeared in the National Assembly (NA) today with clearing his government strategy to combat terrorism.
Prime minster said that they are initiating dialogue again, wishing peace as prime objective. They want to give peace an another chance.
PM Nawaz Sharif announced to constitute four-member committee under his supervision to hold dialogue with Taliban.
The Pakistan PM-led special committee for Taliban talks includes Irfan Siddiqui, newly appointed advisor to PM, Major (R) Amir, Rustom Shah Mohmand, ex ambassador to Afghanistan and Rahim Ullah Yousufzai, a journalist.
Prime Minister clarified that his aimed for dialogues with militants was nothing but to protect locals of Pakistan.
‘We also wanted that constitution of Pakistan be accepted by militants,’ he said.
Nawaz Sharif expressed his grieve over the violent attacks on Pakistan Army, church and media personnels.
The Pakistani premier said that innocent citizens are being killed on the name of revenge against US drone.
