PESHAWAR: Banned militants’ outfit, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid has rejected the reports of commander Adnan Rashid’s death in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF)’s jet strikes, local media reports said.
The militants’ official rejection came after the spreading reports of TTP’s prominent commander Adnan Rashid death following the jet strikes in Mir Ali town on Tuesday’s night, Dunya News reported.
Spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid said that TTP’s commander Adnan Rashid is safe and sound and currently present amongst his family.
According to past media reports, a prominent militant commander of a banned outfit, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has reportedly killed along with four family members in last Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet airstrikes at a town of North Waziristan Agency.
Prominent TTP commander Adnan Rasheed was killed in the airstrikes in the Hamzoi area Mir Ali town of the North Waziristan tribal region, while the attack resulted killing at least 24 people and wounding 15 others, governmental and military sources told the media.
The bombardment was occurred on his home located in Hamzoi area on basis of intelligence reports while governmental sources have confirmed his death along with 4 family members inlcuding wife, son and daughter, local media reported.
