KARACHI: Unknown terrorists carried out an attack on Rangers vehicle by throwing crackers in Manghopir area of Karachi which injured at least 5 persons including 2 security officials on Monday (today).
At least two Rangers officials and three pedestrians were injured in the incident while the attack was carried out by low-intensity blast via crackers, Karachi Police chief Shahid Hayat said.
According to reports, the attack took place in Mianwali colony of Manghopir area in Karachi.
Two civilians and two Rangers Personnales were injured in terrorist attack, however, the injured persons were shifted to the nearby hospital by rescue teams.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies including Police and Rangers have deployed in the area.
