LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zaka Ashraf, just after his restoration taken major decision as he appointed Mohammad Ilyas as new chief selector and Basit Ali as new batting coach for Pakistan cricket team on Saturday.
According to sources, meeting of governing body held at Qaddafi Stadium in which major decision has been taken.
PCB has appointed the former cricketer Basit Ali as batting coach before starting Asia Cup while Ilyas had performed his duties as the chief of selection committee.
The sources said that the PCB has also decided to remove Moin Khan who was working as a manager of the national team.
The sources further said that former opening batsman Amir Sohail also given important post in the PCB.
