BRISBANE: All–rounder James Faulkner helped Australia to get an outstanding victory against England by one-run in the second One-Day International at Gabba stadium.
Australia had lost nine wickets in just 244 runs which seemed that England could win the match easily but Faulkner had discarded the English bowler ability by scoring 69 runs in 47 balls.
English Team had set a massive 300 runs target, but Kangaroos achieved the massive target in the last 49.3 overs in second ODI.
England batsman Eoin Morgan had made the century of 106 runs and Ian Bell had scored the 68 runs.
Spinner Glenn Maxwell proved the best bowler for Australia as he picked up two wickets in his 8 overs.
After getting the marvelous win, Aussies skipper said that Faulkner was proved as the new finisher for his team.
