LONDON: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain demanded the Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen. Raheel Sharif and PM Nawaz Sharif to take notice over emerging conflicts between Rangers and Sindh government.
Altaf Hussain expressed severe concerns on emergence of conflicts between Rangers and Sindh’s provincial government over large-scale appointments and transfers in law enforcement agency, Police, busy in Karachi operation.
The statement was released from the MQM’s London headquarters after the Rangers’ reservation came on the move of Sindh authorities signaling initiation of high-level changes in Police department.
The MQM chief sadi that the Sindh government’s decision seemed a move for diverting the locals’ focus from the increasing cases of policemen killing in Karachi including CID head Chaudhry Aslam and other security officials.
Altaf Hussain appealed the top political and military leaders including PM and COAS to take immediate notice over the matter heightening between the provincial administration and security department.
He also demanded to uncover the facts and figures of CID head’s killing after detaining the culprits as well as to block the conspiracies being created for taking public focus away from the original issues despite revealing the ulterior motives of criminals.
